Organizational Structure
The Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC) is a center within the UC Davis John Muir Institute of the Environment (http://johnmuir.ucdavis.edu). Faculty are committed to strengthening the scientific foundation for environmental decision making through collective entrepreneurship and a team-oriented approach that recognizes the complexities of environmental problems and the societal context in which they occur. As part of its structure, TERC has three external committees: an External Science Advisory Committee, a Friends of Tahoe Support and Fundraising Committee, and an Education Steering Committee (ESC).
